"Hello Cowley family,
Here is (Max) which we changed his name to Sampson, after his dad, who we were pretty impressed with. It's only been a week and a few days and Sampson has fit right in with the family. He already goes to the door and puts his paw on it when he needs to go out to potty. He knows how to sit and shake... Working on laying down, almost has it. We are so happy to have Sampson, he has made our family whole again... Thank you!"
"Thought your family would like to see this, Sampson turned 1 today. Again, the Holmgren family thanks you for our boy Sam. He has been the healthiest bulldog that we have had. We have had absolutely no health issues with him and wiht our experience with bulldogs it's hard to come by. I hope your family continues to breed, I know I will look you up if we ever decide to buy another and would definitely recommend you to others. Sam has been the best gift ever. Thank you Cowley family!!
"Hope all is going well for you! Wanted to give you a little update on not so little Brutus... errr, Rubble. Regarding his new name, our son, who is an avid Paw Patrol fan, decided that if we were having a bulldog we had to rename him Rubble-- after one of the puppy characters on the show.
Rubble, who came to us between 8 to 12 lbs is now a whopping 36 lbs at his 5 month check-up in February. With all his girth, he is a gentle giant and loves people, greeting most strangers with a "butt wiggle" and they turn in, are more than happy to give him a few pats on his head. We've taken Rubble to our local dog park a few times and he seems to get along with all of the dogs. Some smaller dogs are definitely intimidated by his commanding presense but he just wants to sniff'em.
Over the winter, he completed his 6 week Puppy Obedience Course... though his immense stubbornness we have a lot of work to do before he masters each task. There have been times we'll tell him a command and he responds by rolling over on his back requesting a belly rub.
Besides food and basking in the sun, one of Rubble's favorite things is just playing with our kids. They LOVE him and continually offer him an unending supply of affection and attention. My daughter's utter devotion to Rubble became apparent when she designed her Valentine's box for school as an homage to Rubble.
On March 18th, he celebrated his 6 month birthday with peanut butter doggie ice cream. As with all his food, he gobbled it down in seconds. We look forward to the next 6 months of puppyhood with Rubble and many years of adulthood. Sampson and Lilly should be proud!
"I can tell he was well so well cared for. His new name is Gus after the sweet mouse in Cinderella. He will have a good life with us. We are retired and walk every day in the park or on bike trails. My granddaughters college track team wants him for their mascot after he went to the meet Saturday."
"Very healthy socialized puppies. Great support throughout entire process. Can not recommend highly enough. "
